Deepin 15.11 was a really nice and beautiful distro. Unfortunately Deepin 20.1 looks ugly. The rounded windows and task bar with the shaded transparency really isn't transparent like Deepin 15.11, instead in Deepin 20.1 it is like green fogged-glass. It is not at all transparent, looks horrible. Although the settings can be changed in control panel its nothing pretty like in 15.11 so you're forced to used the solid colour of which is neither nor grey.

Deepin 20.1 desktop theme looks disgusting
its better to turn the transparency off. And the design of the cinnamon start menu mimicking something off Windows 10 does not look nice.

..but then, might as well use Zorin OS if you turn off transparency in 20.1 otherwise it looks like Zorin OS

Conclusion
I came back to Deepin, only to find the lastest version horrible and ugly. I came back to enjoy the beauty which was in 15.11 only to find the latest version 20.1 horrendouly ugly. Of course you can change things but who wants to tinker around with the system. Deepin 20.1 is a waste by some designer who has no taste.
